Claiming a Cast
Please avoid casted canon faces, unless drawing from resources of a different age or style that removes any blurring between your character and canon. Twins may use the same cast as each other.
If you wish to recycle a claim, and the character has not been played here in quite some time, let us know.

Name: Character's name
Profession: Profession, career, occupation.
Age: in years and date, we're set in 2014
Hometown: town, county
Wand: Length, wood, core
Most Famous for: Something the character is known for - or how someone might describe them "The really tall dragon tamer."
History and Plot Background
Basic history. Where did they go to school, and what was their favourite lesson? Do they have siblings? Are their parents still alive? Why did they get their job, or choose it, where have they lived? Have they married, do they have children who do they live with? What do they want to do in the next few years
Personality
Good things, bad things. Are they good under pressure, do they make friends easily? Do they treat everyone the same? What sort of person do they clash with?
Appearance
Height: Feet and inches usually.
Build: overweight, pot bellied, athletic, skinny, stooping etc
Hair: colour, type, length, usual style
Usually wears: work clothes, favourite clothes, robes, Muggle styles?
Can add more here.

New Characters / Application

Brilliant! You want to make a character!
Don't be swayed by fancy titles, do pick a character you can write some cracking posts with and plot with.
1. Register your first character (don't worry if you used a OOC nickname, just change the display name)
2. Start yourself a new thread in "New Characters" and title it the name of your character please. (No funny apostrophes or stars before it, or poetic names if you please) Put your character's profession or role as the description, so for example:
Alice Valentine - Minister for Magic
See an example
3. Fill out the character info and post the thread to the "New Characters" forum.
4. We'll be in touch to let you know if it fits the site, or what needs tweaked, and move it as necessary.
Simple!
Feel free to reformat AFTER (as long as all the info is there), but remember looking pretty isn't essential, so don't spend too long. By doing it after we've had a read, it speeds up the process of approval. Please keep the thread title the same though!
